Welcome to the 2011 Junior Golf Program at Saginaw Country Club! This is an exciting year for Junior Golf as we continue to grow and get more competitive. Our #1 Rule in Junior Golf is SAFETY and our #2 Rule is HAVE FUN! We will be starting out with golf clinics to build their skills and learn proper golf etiquette for the first (3) weeks. Then we will be playing golf on the course and posting scores on scoreboards for the remaining (3) weeks. There will be weekly winners as well as overall champions for each boys and girls division. The starting age for the junior program is 6 years old up to 17 years old. We will have four divisions: Putters, 3 Hole, 6 Hole, and 9 Hole Divisions.

* No Junior Golf on July 21st due to the Men’s Invitational

Walkers/Scorekeepers
We are asking that all parents volunteer as an adult walker/scorekeeper for at least one Tournament Day. You will be assigned to a 3 or 6 hole group. Golf experience is not necessary as you will mainly be keeping score and making sure the juniors are having fun and staying safe. Walkers will not be assigned to their child’s group.

Entry Fee
The Junior Golf fee for 2011 will be $90.00 per junior for Golf Members and $150 for Social Members. Please take a moment to fill out the following registration form for each of your juniors that will be participating in this year’s program.

2010 Junior Golf Results

I would like to thank all of the golfers that participated in the Junior golf program this year. I enjoyed working with all of the juniors.
